Longleat Safari and Adventure Park Gets a Refresh
More Recent Work
LMS Highways provides essential line marking throughout Longleat Safari Park.
Longleat Safari and Adventure Park in Wiltshire was established in 1966 and proudly offers the first drive-through safari outside Africa. Working for B&B Innovations and continuing our long-standing working relationship, the LMS Highways crew spent five days delivering a variety of essential line marking throughout the ground, which spans an impressive 9,000 acres! Lining included parking bays throughout their multiple car parks, road markings and directional arrows.
All markings were created using white and yellow Thermoplastic, which is a hot applied material with a curing time of as little as 60 seconds allowing areas to be trafficked almost immediately.
Due to this fast curing time a complete closure is not necessary and instead the crews cone out sections at a time to ensure a safe working area for themselves and members of the public.
LMS Highways offers a full range of line marking solutions using a variety of materials and application techniques, all of which cater to a clients time-scales, budgets and environmental considerations. For more information on the services we provide please get in touch on 01626 331771.
Whilst most the country is in lock down and many places remain closed, LMS Highways crews have been making use of the empty roads and car parks.
For many businesses having a car park lined or line markings refreshed can be a challenging task due to the inability to completely close off these areas to customers and staff. Usually this means our crews have to work around cars, cordoning off areas at a time. This can become quite timely and sometimes affect their ability to complete the job that day.
It’s easy for us to take living in Devon for granted... but jobs like this make us fall in love with our county all over again! Surrounded by rolling hills and the beautiful North Devon coastline our crew spent a few days implementing various line markings for a valued customer.
Safety markings are essential within potentially dangerous environments such as a busy warehouse with moving equipment like forklift trucks.
Due to this, a Bridgewater based company required various markings across their site. Our Newton Abbot crews installed new and refreshed safety markings throughout their warehouse and service yard.
We've recently had the pleasure of remarking several large Tesco store car parks across the South West and Wales including sites in Burnham on Sea, Brislington and Gloucester working on behalf of a major contractor.
