Cofton Holiday Park Devon - Additional Line Marking
More Recent Work
Having recently visited the busy holiday park in Devon to provide various line markings, we were thrilled to hear Cofton Holidays would like us to return for a second visit.
Sending one of our Newton Abbot crews, they were instructed to implement additional markings throughout the park. Description of works to be carried out were; new lettering for existing bays, a pedestrian walkway, double yellow lines throughout the site, 'no parking' hatching and new customer parking bays.
All lines were created using a mix of white and yellow thermoplastic which cures and is able to be driven on within 60 seconds. This fast curing time enabled this busy holiday park to remain open as usual with minimal disruption for customers and staff alike.
Health and safety is at the forefront for LMS Highways so every crew is supplied with their own traffic management equipment, which includes; 'men at work' signs, these will be place along the roadside to warn traffic of their presence. They also carry traffic cones, used to surround their working area, directing pedestrians and traffic away from and safely around the live site.

Whilst most the country is in lock down and many places remain closed, LMS Highways crews have been making use of the empty roads and car parks.
For many businesses having a car park lined or line markings refreshed can be a challenging task due to the inability to completely close off these areas to customers and staff. Usually this means our crews have to work around cars, cordoning off areas at a time. This can become quite timely and sometimes affect their ability to complete the job that day.
It’s easy for us to take living in Devon for granted... but jobs like this make us fall in love with our county all over again! Surrounded by rolling hills and the beautiful North Devon coastline our crew spent a few days implementing various line markings for a valued customer.
Safety markings are essential within potentially dangerous environments such as a busy warehouse with moving equipment like forklift trucks.
Due to this, a Bridgewater based company required various markings across their site. Our Newton Abbot crews installed new and refreshed safety markings throughout their warehouse and service yard.
We've recently had the pleasure of remarking several large Tesco store car parks across the South West and Wales including sites in Burnham on Sea, Brislington and Gloucester working on behalf of a major contractor.
