Car Park Lining in Leighton Buzzard
More Recent Work
The LMS Highways crews always enjoy working on a fresh tarmac surface so when requested to provide a variety of markings on a newly surfaced car park, we couldn't resist!
The job consisted of a respectable 120 parking bays, directional arrows, junctions and 'no entry' lettering.
All car park markings were created using a hot applied white thermoplastic material which once laid, cures within approximately 60 seconds. The yellow steps were achieved a using cold applied MMA plastic, which is fully dry within around 30 minutes. MMA is ideal for walkways and areas where safety is a high priority, due to its slip resistant coating and outstanding SRV (Slip Resistance Value).
As you can see from the images, our crew has done a spectacular job at creating a clean, well-marked car park, contributing towards a safe environment for both drivers and pedestrians alike whilst providing a quick turn around for our customer.
Whilst most the country is in lock down and many places remain closed, LMS Highways crews have been making use of the empty roads and car parks.
For many businesses having a car park lined or line markings refreshed can be a challenging task due to the inability to completely close off these areas to customers and staff. Usually this means our crews have to work around cars, cordoning off areas at a time. This can become quite timely and sometimes affect their ability to complete the job that day.
It’s easy for us to take living in Devon for granted... but jobs like this make us fall in love with our county all over again! Surrounded by rolling hills and the beautiful North Devon coastline our crew spent a few days implementing various line markings for a valued customer.
Safety markings are essential within potentially dangerous environments such as a busy warehouse with moving equipment like forklift trucks.
Due to this, a Bridgewater based company required various markings across their site. Our Newton Abbot crews installed new and refreshed safety markings throughout their warehouse and service yard.
We've recently had the pleasure of remarking several large Tesco store car parks across the South West and Wales including sites in Burnham on Sea, Brislington and Gloucester working on behalf of a major contractor.
