5 Star Lining for Dartmoor's 5 Star Hotel
More Recent Work
We recently had the pleasure of visiting the luxury 5 star Bovey Castle Hotel, to provide essential lining throughout the grounds.
I just wanted to send a note of thanks for yesterday, it’s always difficult when a staff member calls in sick but it was hugely appreciated that LMS managed to sort things out for me and send Rob up yesterday with his ‘trainee’ in the afternoon to complete the job. Not only was he a genuinely nice man but he gave great advice and cracked on with the job, I can’t believe how swift you can get it done when you’re clearly very experienced. Thanks to him the car park now looks great and beyond expectation… I’ll fully recommend you to anyone that asks in the future.
Iain Wylie- Estate Manager.
Bovey Castle Hotel and spa stands within 275 acres of beautiful countryside within Devon’s Dartmoor National Park, the hotel offers 60 bedrooms along with 22 self-catering country lodges, luxurious Elan Spa and award-winning 18-hole championship golf course.
With the summer period being an incredibly busy time of year LMS Highways’ resources are stretched to the limits. However, letting our customers down is never an option. So, Contracts manager Rob Adams swapped his comfortable air conditioned office and donned his PPE and headed out on the road along with his new trainee operative Harriet.
Upon arriving at Bovey Castle we were greeted by Iain Wylie the Estate Manager who walked through the site to discuss their requirements. With over 15 years experience Rob was able to make very practical and educated suggestions to adjust the plan to better suit their needs.
All lining was created using a mix of white and yellow hot applied thermoplastic material which once laid cures within approx. 60 seconds meaning there was no need for any closures across the site and kept all disruption to visitors and staff to a minimum.
It’s easy for us to take living in Devon for granted... but jobs like this make us fall in love with our county all over again! Surrounded by rolling hills and the beautiful North Devon coastline our crew spent a few days implementing various line markings for a valued customer.
Safety markings are essential within potentially dangerous environments such as a busy warehouse with moving equipment like forklift trucks.
Due to this, a Bridgewater based company required various markings across their site. Our Newton Abbot crews installed new and refreshed safety markings throughout their warehouse and service yard.
We've recently had the pleasure of remarking several large Tesco store car parks across the South West and Wales including sites in Burnham on Sea, Brislington and Gloucester working on behalf of a major contractor.
